Dental Laser Training Academy (DeLTA) is a long-established international training academy with over 14 yearβs experience. We have a wealth of knowledge in all Laser, wavelengths available in dentistry and their clinical applications, to establishing lasers in your practice and how to integrate this.
Our courses start with introductory to intermediate and advanced, where you not only learn the theoretical background of laser technology, but also practical guidance enabling you to put the theory into practice.
DeLTA is also proud to provide a comprehensive course in laser safety, to enable the UK
dental professional to comply with current laser safety and to meet CQC requirements.

Dr. Mark Cronshaw
Co-Founder and Director
Mark Cronshaw BSc, BDS, LDSRCS, MSc is a private practitioner in Cowes, Isle of Wight. He completed a MSc in oral laser use at the University of Genoa in 2014. From 2015 β 2020 he worked as Contract Professor (Professore a Contratto), Department of Surgical Sciences and Integrated Diagnostics at the University of Genoa and a member of the Teaching Faculty of the Academic Master Degree (MSc) degree (Livello II) programme in laser dentistry at the University. He was awarded the Fellowship of the World Class Laser Institute in 2009. In
2012 he was awarded the prestigious Fellowship award of the International Academy of Dento-Facial Esthetics.
Dr Cronshaw is on the editorial peer review panel of Lasers in Medical Science and is on the Board of Laser Educational International. Mark is currently completing his PhD in PBM at De Montfort University, Leicester.
Prof. Steven Parker
Associate Director
Steven Parker BDS, LDSRCS, FCGDent, PhD is Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, De Montfort University, Leicester. He has been involved with lasers in dentistry for over 30 years. He has received publication in over 80 peer-reviewed papers on the use of lasers in dentistry. He serves as associate-editor of Lasers in Medical Science.
From 2010 β 2020 he worked as Contract Professor (Professore a Contratto), Department of Surgical Sciences and Integrated Diagnostics at the University of Genoa and was Lead Faculty of the Academic Master Degree (MSc) degree (Livello II) programme in laser dentistry at the University. He served as President of the Academy of Laser Dentistry in 2005-6. He is co-Editor-in-Chief and co-author of the 2017 Springer textbook βLasers in Dentistry β Current Conceptsβ (2nd edition January 2024). Steven was awarded his PhD in Laser Photonics and PBM at De Montfort University, Leicester.
