A patient came in for a bridge prep appointment but had a large herpetic infection. Standard practice suggests rescheduling the appointment to avoid cross-infection. However, with our dual wavelength approach, we used a diode laser PBM to relieve his swelling and discomfort.
We then used the Waterlase to seal the wound with a protein bandage, disinfecting and creating a protective seal over the ulceration. As you can see in the video, there's a remarkable reduction in swelling, promoting faster healing. By addressing the issue immediately, we saved the patient time and effort, reduced costs, and avoided the need for a return visit. Plus, we completed the bridge prep, preserving valuable time and revenue!
